I found this in the woods when I was setting stuff up surrounding the strumming. It's that white thing at the bottom left of the tree. I thought it was a mushroom at first, because it doesn't appear to have eye sockets? If you look closely in the 2nd and 3rd pictures, there's a patch where it looks like the bone was grated by something. What is this?

this looks like an old puffball mushroom (or something similar) to me. I've seen such over here in Germany too, I believe. But you held it in your hand... was it hard as bone?
I typed "old puffball mushroom" and just "puffball mushroom" into an image search and found a few quite similar pictures... but not exactly similar. So I'm not totally sure.
Definitely bone. The last image shows the base which looks less mushroomy.
That is a squirrel skull! I have one too!
It is definitly the Skulls Brainpart, its muzzlebone is broken off at the Eyepart from the Skull, clear to see
