Looks a bit like I got here after the party has long ended, but still I was eager to try the LS on my own.
So I read some of the essays and yesterday just decided to go for it.
I took an old artwork that I did some year's ago, a wooden dragon installation that I inscribed with a poem in ogham and added the linking sigil. I read that without the arrows the chaos does not spread that much, so I left them out (for now) and also the dot, as some say it represents Ellis and I do not have a strong connection to her (yet). While making the sigil I focused on a positive intend (as filter) to bring making into this world, my life and maybe also others but without harmful side effects.
I took bot objects and placed them in the dark in a nearby forest. I chose a half cut down oak tree on a crossroad with a small hill, that I used to think of as fairy hill few years ago but that now has been destroyed by wood walkers. That was a place that felt magical and powerful to me, but also violated. I hoped to revive it. When placing the stick with the sigil under the tree where I hanged the dragon on I spoke the words "with this sigil I link the worlds. Then I stepped back. It took a few seconds, but then I got a feeling that was quite uncanny. Not really bad or scary, but very strange and unfamiliar. I got goosebumps. I stayed a few more minutes, then I turned and went home. On the way back, I had to turn a few times, to make sure there was nothing following me. Just before leaving the forest, I found a small reflector that reflected my flash light. It felt right to take it with me.
What do you guys say? Did I make any major mistakes?
It surely was an interesting experience and I will visit the place again the next days and weeks, during day and nighttime and see how it changes.
