The story of the Babalon Working is an occult legend.
Rocket scientist Jack Parsons, future founder of Scientology
L Ron Hubbard, and fiercely individual witch-woman artist
Marjorie Cameron used the ideas of Aleister Crowley to try and
bring forth a goddess into the modern world of the A Bomb and
Gnostic revival. The results were mysterious, controversial, and
even catastrophic. Paul uses material from his book
Aleister Crowley and the Aeon of Horus to give unique
insight into this story, including a contentious take on the
role of Hubbard.

The Babalon working was a series of magic ceremonies or rituals performed from January to Marc of 1946 by author, pioneer rocket-fuel scientist and occultist Jack Parsons
and scientology founder L Ron Hubbard. This ritual was essentially designed to manifest an individual incarnation of the archetypal divine feminine called Babalon.
The project was based on the idea of Aleister Crowley and his description of a similar project in his 1917 novel moonchild.

the development of the adept female formulas of the 156 current.
It was therefore of primary importance that the magical body
should be crystallized first to enable one to act with full agency
within the current. There was little of reference to be found that
supported my aspirations to a practice that was focused solely
upon Babalon as a magical intelligence in her own right,
and so I began I very long, solitary journey,
in which I began excavating the occult anatomy of her
mysteries and how one might engage with these within a
progressive practice. I should be clear that I'm not against
heterosexual rites, quite the contrary, but I feel that these sexual
formulas need to be reformed and brought into full alignment
with the 156.



Unique to the dynamics of 156 is development of some very
specific 'earthing' formulas which work in tandem with a process
of inner cultivation of TETH. It is a very lengthy and complex
process of transformation in which one has to completely
reconfigure ones energetic and physical state to enable one to
become a vessel that can withstand the onslaught of the
erotic-kinetic maelstrom of Babalon. However, it is possible to
articulate the parameters of her magic and defining the territory
is essential to any ongoing manifestation. To communicate this
in any way, some form of systematisation is necessary.



The magic of 156 challenges the textualism of many orthodox
magical systems and defies any form of conventional hierarchy.
However, by definition any form of practice must have a learning
curve and clear objectives, in the 156 system this is defined by a
gradual syzygy with the 'Body of Babalon' through a series of
recognizable stages, a complex sex magical gnosis that gradually
awakens the full activation of the current with the body/psyche."

Primer: The inverted triangle and Baal worship.

The inverted triangle has several layered meanings, but it's origin is found in the ancient fertility cult of Babylon.

When the children of Israel migrated to the promise land, they were exposed to the fertility cult in the land of Canaan where Baal and Asherah were worshiped. Baal worship is a sexual religion at its core.

Many modern Christians erroneously think that the main attraction of Baal worship was bowing down to idols and statues. But the real attraction, was the sexual activity that goes along with it.

During their rituals, it was common for orgies to break out as the people acted out in lascivious behavior to please their fertility god. And thus, their participation was just an excuse for the people to participate in fleshly depravity.

Mankind has never changed. Today the residents of earth also take part in ritualistic fornication under the guise of pagan fertility rituals, satanic black mass, the Beltane Festival, Burning Man, Spring Break Vacation, and a list that is too long to mention. We could even add that todays counterpart to Baal worship is sexual addiction and pornography.

These things take place across the world and especially in America. According to Revelation 17: 1-2, mystery Babylon is guilty of the following:

"Come, I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

The above is a description of Mystery Babylon's sexual decadence.

Burning Man

It is not just one person participating in this. The Burning Man festival is an annual event where tens of thousands of people show up in the desert to have an orgy. In the image below ten of thousands of people made a city in the desert to act out in hedonistic pleasure.

Baal worship is everywhere

And let us not forget spring break, which has become one of the cultural staples of America's young people as they make their passage into adulthood. This occurs every year by the millions.

As I just mentioned, the children of Israel were confronted with the temptation of fertility worship when they entered the promised land and were introduced to Baal And Asherah. They were instructed to tear down the alters to her.

Asherah goes by several names depending on the geographical region where she is worshiped; Astarte, Ashtoreth, Atargatis, Athirat, Venus, Isis, Juno, Ishtar, the queen of heaven, Aphrodite, Hadad, and many others.

Her horns were symbolic of mountain peaks. The inverted triangle of Asherah represents the female anatomy. The inverted triangle can be seen in these images of Ashera that were taken from rubbings of archaeological sites. (refer to original link for images)

As you can see, the inverted triangle was a part of Ashera's renderings and represented the female, while Baal represented the male anatomy with the use of pillars and poles.

in my experience they are of a very strong intelligence, and are always seeking knowledge, and imparting understanding. They are viral, or perhaps symbiotic is a better word. There is a definite sense of magic about them, undoubtedly. As far as the godforms go, in my experience they are closest to Ellis and the assault on reality.

They are a powerful tool for working with the awareness of the energy body. My practices with martial arts have excelled since experimenting. There is a strong martial energy about them, refined awareness like a blade cutting through illusion. Peeling away the layers of reality one by one infront of your eyes.


During one particularly intense experience my vision or perception of everything I was physically seeing became "unified" I felt blind, even though I could see. the problem was I could not differentiate anything from another. i had no perception of floor from ceiling I guess you could say. this led to some serious vertigo and I ended up crawling as a result to a nearby chair. upon sitting in the chair, (it was a rocking type) I leaned back and felt the sensation of "take-off" much like in an airplane. I awoke in a cold sweat head to toe, breathing unevenly shallow and rapid. I was unsure if I had a seizure or what, I have no history of such. where I went, I do not know. Though I do know that there is a "planted memory" of the experience, in other words a false memory of waking up on an operating table with large insects above me doing the work on my brain.


I have always had a definite feeling of the mushroom spirits/ intelligences being benevolent and very, very close to this reality. Also, a definite feeling of them doing work on my brain, I have had an experience where I was dreaming on mushrooms and I had a very real sensation of them traveling from my stomach to my brain and then spores germinating and taking root, growing in my brain.
