That's the thing, there aren't very many resources on them. I know a lot of private/personal stuff goes on with lesser known entities like this. But I haven't found many actual sources. That's where I've found personal experiences and experiments are so important. The Hydra is a strong force. I managed to sync up to him by scrying into a picture of him like it was a sigil. I've done the same with the Mester Stoor Worm. There's a presence, but it's much more subtle. Nidhogg and Jormungandr have pretty strong followings in the Thursatru and Roknatru communities, so those would be good places to research them, and the Eddas. Though, I have found literally nothing about the other Grafvitr. They were only mentioned once, in a list in the Eddas, and everyone seems to ignore them. But they were called great serpents, just like Nidhogg and Jormungandr. I have a feeling Nidhogg would be willing to introduce practitioners to them. There's always the Slavic Veles, or the Vedic Vritra. Or, the biblical Red Dragon himelf. I've worked closely with Behemoth in the past. I can post the sigil he gave me here a little later. He'd be easier than the other lesser known serpents to contact. The anti-cosmics have a bunch of writings and rituals regarding Chaos serpents too.

Since we're going with Chaos Dragons, why not get in contact with as many of them as we can in the meentime? There are a lot of them, and they are powerful. Like, contact them, and ask for their assistance. Use the sigil for the ritual, and get them to connect to it. It doesn't just have to be well knows dragons like Leviathan. There are ones like the Hydra, Ladon, Behemoth, and even all the Grafvitnir who only Nidhogg and Jormungandr are really known about and worked with. This could be a way to boost the chaotic energies in this world, by offering a chance for chaos dragons who don't have as  much attention/influence in the world, a way to really energy and influence things.

I will say this. The actual gods are far more complex. than you or I could ever comprehend. There is a good possibility that Apollo is also Abaddon. That should say something. I have a close connection to Choronzon, and he can present himself as an angel of ligh, so much so, I though he was an actual angel. I work very closely with the Draconian gods, with Lilith and Choronzon as my main patrons.
I can sympathize with your view of the gods. Remember that Odin is a very dark trickster just like Loki, as well as a king. Simple human stories won't give you a clear picture of any god. Though, I still am averse to light gods/order gods. But, order is just another facet of chaos.
From what I learned, atleast with dark gods, if you act like weak prey, you get treated like prey. Your view of cruelty means nothing to any god, because, in the full scheme of things, we are insignificant. Be amoral. Be wrathful. Don't show fear to them. That's what they teach. Their "cruelty" teaches and breakers down personal barriers in our lives. This toll me a while to get, because I'm a gnostic at heart. Shit, I love Lilith and Choronzon. They are like family to me. But they test me constantly not to blindly trust anyone, including them. They've taught me how to trust myself. They tore me the fuck apart when my path first started.
Become a god, but remember where you are now. Fear, weakness, and human arrogance will get no one anywhere. There are things far bigger than you could ever imagine going on out there.

The Assault on Reality / Re: August 2017 solar eclipse

I'm thinking, maybe have this group ritual be the same at parts. Like, have an evocation or two, a visualization, a sigil activation and visualization, and then a more personalized calling/evocation to the specific chaos serpent. Maybe the specific chaos serpent can have it's own evocation that everyone choosing to work with it can use. For example; one evocation group for leviathan, one for  Tiamat, one for Jormungandr, etc. The main goal of this would be to unleash them into the world so their chaos energies can destroy the veil, and to strengthen their presence and influence here. Holy shit, just imagine the effects of this if enough people get involved!

Not to mention, he named the episode after it. :)

I'd love to take part in this. Tiamat is a great idea. But, I think multiple chaos serpents would be even better. Instead of one chaos serpent coming into the world and rending the veil, why not multiple ones? Like Níðhöggr, Jormungandr, Vritra, etc. this has the potential to be absolutely immense.

Go for it. I've been experimenting with linking into fictional worlds and connecting certain characters into Eliss's web. Some interesting things have happened so far. I'll evoke her soon and ask her how successful the link ups have been. Let us know if any weirdness happens at your university. :)

Member Introductions / Hello everyone!
December 16, 2016, 12:15:36 PM
I've been here already for a little bit, and realized I haven't made a formal introduction. I've been very interested in the DKMU and the godforms for a while now. But, I deal mostly with the Draconian and Chaosgnostic currents, so the DKMU godforms aren't my main patrons. but there's definitely room on my altar for them. I've seen that there is a common goal between the different Chaosgnostic currents and the DKMU, even though most groups tend to disagree on certain points and ideas. The destruction of the veil or physical universe is a constant in all Chaosgnostic traditions. I'd love to see these traditions work together more. I look forward to getting to know more of you all!

Quote from: Nes on November 22, 2016, 08:19:43 AMI wouldn't be so quick to label everything an illusion. The way I see it, it's more the opposite.

I'm curious to hear more about how it is the opposite.
The way I see it, there are many layers of existence. Not like an onion. More like layers and spheres all on top of eachother and over lapping. The worlds within the mind are just as real as the physical world and the other spiritual worlds. All kinds of different occult/magical groups have different views on what is "real" and "not real". I'll use Dragon Rouge as an example. They say everything but their one goal is an illusion, basically. Which is, they aim to ascend out to chaos, the black void and the end of the Nightside, so they can create worlds, in the way the Demiurge is said to have. They say this world, the astral, and everything else between them and their goal is merely an illusion. Many other groups say everything but their goal is an illusion. It's a good tool to use to make sure things don't get in the way of their goal, but that's all it is. They all define what is "real" differently. There are no parameters at all, no rules that define what is and isnt. It is said that the "void" holds all that is and isn't and could be and never will be.
The way I see it, There is no creator or all god. The only demiurge lies within the human slave-like psyche. That is why they flock to gods like Yahweh. Every god that is claimed to be one is a sham. This is the void. We are already creators. Energy is energy. That's all. Conciousness can arise from it. Humanity is a tiny blip compared to what is out there. Calling everything an illusion because there is energy that everything is made from is pointless, IMO. It's just as pointless as worshipping this "all" energy. It's not concious, it's just energy. You can call it an illusion if you want, but it is just as valid to say it's not. A person can reach an infinite existence in the astral by consuming the energy of others, or by becoming a god by reaching Thaumiel on the qliphoth, or by reaching Kether and not dissolving into another power. There are infinite possibilities for spiritual growth. There are even those who collapse their entire existence into worlds within their own mind. Just about everyone has a path. And most think other paths are false or "not real."

This is really hard to explain. I probably botched what I was trying to say. I think I got my point across though.

The study of Logic can only get you so far. I agree it has it's place in the mundane physical world, but the nonphysical is beyond human constructions like that.  And, I wouldn't be so quick to label everything an illusion. The way I see it, it's more the opposite. But, to each their own.
Don't give into blind faith like Christians or science worshiping atheists, but don't go the opposite extreme and disbelieve everything you experience. What was it Crowley said about skepticism again? I think it fits here. I totally see what you mean. Skepticism is the reason people are here right now, and the reason why people practice magic to begin with.

I've had an idea similar to this brewing up for a little bit now. Is there any way to find a link to that other idea? I'm really curious as to the nature of fictional worlds.
