DKMU // OPERATION: SCREAMING RATCHET
Written by Sei, reviewed by Yavhe Alexander
A collaboration between DKMU, DKMU Latin America, and the Hexorian Movement

Original Facebook Thread: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DomusKaoticaMarauderUnderground/permalink/4804482449581486/

I invite you to post your findings here.
====================================

DATE: May 8th to June 8th.

OBJECTIVE:
Utilize the Randonautica mobile app, the Hexorius Sigil, and the Linking Sigil to tag sub-reality pockets, causing deeper pockets to open which can then be tagged progressively.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
* Increase the reach of LS and Hexorius into deeper levels of (sub-)reality.
* Increase the average weirdness of Randonautica endpoints.
* Cause other randonautica users, magicians, and muggles to encounter the LS, Hexorius, and deep pockets.
* Strengthen the operatives' connections to the LS and the Hexorius.
* Liminalize the material plane.
* Fun and exercise.

DESCRIPTION AND THEORY:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use the Randonautica app to visit randomly generated endpoints, and tag those endpoints with the Linking Sigil and Hexorius Sigil. Each endpoint you tag will increase your affinity to the egregores and their effects, and will also bind these egregores progressively to the Randonautica app, resulting in increased weirdness for its players. Over time, use of the app will lead to deeper and stranger sub-reality pockets, which you will recursively tag, further amplifying the chaotic magical energy of the system.
By driving the LS and Hexorius into progressively deeper cracks in reality, their world influence will increase, and the veil will weaken. Other users of the app, as well as random passersby, are likely to encounter the sigils as well, and become drawn in, affecting their personal realities and the consensus reality in a manner in line with our greater goals. Also it will be fun and you will get some exercise.
This will be an ongoing operation. If you get interesting results, make sure to share them!

WHAT IS RANDONAUTICA?
Randonautica is a popular mobile app that uses a quantum random number source to send you on a randomized adventure. A point is selected for you to visit within your specified radius, based on a few presets you can choose from. This often has the effect of bringing you to a place that your day-to-day decision making never would, thereby expanding your reality. The app has a reputation for sending people to unusual or even blatantly magical locations, and for producing synchronicities. The app's developers claim that your intent when generating an endpoint will influence the outcome. For example, you might wish to encounter high weirdness, or something spooky, or something that makes you happy. The practice of visiting random points in this manner, charged with intent, is sometimes called Magic Drift.

WHAT IS THE LINKING SIGIL?
If you are not yet familiar with the Linking Sigil, I recommend that you watch Arjil's video on the subject (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4HlcMsJUlU).
Every image of the Linking Sigil is the Linking Sigil. All instances are connected together in a massive "web" that passes energy from place to place. They are tagged in places of power to draw power into the web, and tagged in places without power to fill those places with power from the web.
The Linking Sigil can be used to empower your rituals with chaotic energy (which can be filtered by your intent when drawing it), but its more ambitious goal is to transform the entire world into a liminal zone, spreading magical energy everywhere and inspiring belief and high weirdness among the masses.

WHAT IS HEXORIUS?
From the Origin of Hexorius Document:
A street whose structures do not seem to have coherence, the graffiti of a heart in the middle of the street, a house that was not there the day before, a cabin lost in the middle of the forest.
Each city has two names: the one that is read from the right side and the one that is read backwards. And that second name is the name of Hexorius.
Hexorius represents and rules over the hidden aspects of cities, be they physical or immaterial. About that "other world" that is in sight but not everyone can see.
The synchronicities, the chance encounters, the messages written on the walls that only magicians can understand.
888 manifests itself in those aspects of the city that are strange or uncommon, from that tile of a different color from the others to that gothic-style house in which nobody seems to live. Each of these anomalies sends a simple but very powerful message: "magic is real" and serves to encourage magicians on their way as well as provide homes, shelters or bases of operations.
Also, Hexorius speaks of a twin world but inverse to the world of the mundane where non-magicians inhabit; a similar but different world, a world of forced coincidences, synchronicities and knowledge for those who dare to enter it. A magical world that lives close to the ordinary world which can be accessed through sacred, lost and hidden places.

GET OUT THERE AND MAKE THINGS REAL WEIRD, OPERATIVE!
DEATH TO THE IMAGE, HAIL THE NEW FLESH!

The City will feed us...
HAIL HEXORIUS...

The Art Lab / Poetry: Flame
May 01, 2021, 11:46:32 AM

Have I forgotten how to feel?
Since I don't remember when,
I'm not sure I know what's real.

My soul feels cold and numb,
And most of the time,
The words just won't come.

This morbid stillness haunts my mind,
But somewhere deep inside of me,
A small candle flickers that I can't seem to find.

I can't let this flame die,
Even if it ends me.

I can still remember when
I used to shine so brightly,
But everything was simpler then.

I guess I gave up fighting
By staring at the sun too long,
And now that fire is hiding.

And every single day,
My bloodied phantom searches
While my spirit wastes away.

I won't let this flame die,
Even if it burns me.

What I wouldn't give to feel again!
The depths of sorrow, joy, and love...
If they could just feel real again!

In crushing darkness, blind, I crawl,
Seeking out that radiant light
I knew before the fall.

I think that fire is searching too.
It yearns for me, its long lost love,
To kindle something beautiful and new.

I can't, I won't let this flame die.
Even if it ends me,
Even if it burns me,
Even if it ends with me burning alive.

The Art Lab / Poetry: Shallow Voice
April 26, 2021, 12:42:26 PM
Do you remember back before your heart
Was covered with with beautiful snow?
Something warm and priceless died with her.

And marching softly onward since that time,
You've been spending your whole life to find
The music fit to complement
The shallow voice down below.
The brightest parts of you went chasing after her.

It's cold down here, so bring a warm coat.
See how the snow can sparkle like that lost flame,
Brilliantly, under the subtle glow of that remaining light.

Due to popular demand, the Forum has been unlocked for another go. I'm still dusting things off so there may be issues; in case there is a serious issue or you are unable to register or post, contact seisatsu@seisat.su.
Unfortunately the original theme was lost somehow when updating the software. I may be able to get it back, but for now I've installed another dark theme.
Have at it!

Yesterday I attempted to make the magickal ink for my Register of Service, which I may describe in another thread.

Here is what I did.

Combine:

2 Cups Filtered Water
1/4 Cup Black Walnut Hull Powder
1 Tbsp. Lavender
1 Tbsp. Patchoulli
1 Tbsp. Mugwort
1 Tbsp. Mullein
1 Tbsp. Eucalyptus

Simmer, covered, for two hours, and let steep for eight hours.

After steeping for about 8 hours, I was left with a mush of plant matter which had mostly absorbed the liquid.

I began by putting the mess in a strainer over a clean pot, and picking up and pressing bits of the plant material with my fingers to squeeze out all the liquid. This left a small amount of viscous black liquid filled with silt, to which I added purified water until it was brought back to one cup worth.

I prepared a small strainer over a clean measuring cup, and tried to filter the ink through a coffee filter. However, it got clogged almost straight away. Heating the liquid helped little. What I ended up doing was filtering a little liquid at a time, and then replacing the coffee filter, which each time had much of the silt stuck to it. I went through several filters this way.

At last when about half of the liquid was filtered and the rest of the slush was just too viscous, I pinched the filter into a pouch around the liquid and squeezed gently to help it pass through. I wrung out the filter pouch, leaving the rest of the silt stuck inside, and discarded.

The dark brown, very reflective liquid I was left with would probably be decent for scrying.

At this point I mixed in half a teaspoon of PhytoCide Aspen Bark Extract as a preservative. This was a mistake. The data sheet for the bark extract claims that it is only stable up to 140 degrees fahrenheit, so past this point, I could no longer use the stove to evaporate the liquid further if need be. i should have first tested the viscosity of the ink inside the pen, and then added the bark extract very last when I was satisfied with its properties.

Next I began mixing in teaspoons, and then tablespoons of gum arabic to increase the viscosity, testing in the pen periodically. However, though the viscosity increased, the liquid did not take on the flow properties of my reference ink, and continued to flow poorly in comparison. I settled on 8 Tbsp. of gum arabic to my 1 Cup of liquid ink. I had naively thought that viscosity would be a linear property of the liquid which I could scale up or down with the gum arabic, but it turns out that viscosity is more nuanced than that. Next time I will try evaporating first before adding gum arabic, and see how this affects the viscosity in comparison.

I did not add a few drops of my blood in the end, partly because I was not ready to use the ink in a magickal project yet, and partly because I pussed out about drawing blood with a knife after I failed to do it with a sterilized needle. When the time comes I will either get stupid drunk or buy some diabetic lancets. Here is a photo of my finished ink -- virtually a lifetime supply if it were perfect. I will try a new batch at a later date and post results.

The final product was not ideal in color or viscosity, but was ultimately usable, and a good starting point for further refinement of the process.

The Assault on Reality / Operation Fool's Eggs

Operation Fool's Eggs
(Cross-posted from Facebook)

This year, Easter Sunday has the unique privilege of coinciding with the world's most important and meaningful holiday, April Fool's Day. For this April First, I propose an operation borrowing from an idea I got from Arjil's LS lecture, the Easter Egg Glitterbomb. For those not in the know, a glitterbomb (or glamourbomb) is a sort of artistic magickal device which uses the element of surprise to weaken the target's psychological barriers and then jam an attached message into their subconscious.

To participate in this grand operation:
1) Buy a bag of colorful plastic Easter eggs, the kind frequently used for the eponymous Easter Egg Hunt.
2) Fill each egg with actual glitter, or confetti if you're a nice guy.
3) Inside each egg, also place a thin strip of paper a la fortune cookie, inscribed with the Linking Sigil and a short impactful message such as "Magick is real!"
4) Charge the eggs via the method of your choice, or just let the LS do it for you.
5) Hide them around town, perhaps in parks or playgrounds, or various urban environments, where they are likely to be found within a day or so. Places where an Easter Egg Hunt has already been scheduled may also be worthy of attention if you are ballsy.
6) ???
7) PROFIT!!!

I bought my first hematite ring yesterday and put it on outside the shop. Immediately my hand felt fucky and I started to become ill. Always clean newly-purchased magical items before wearing them! Worse still, I couldn't get the damn thing off. What a blunder. After feeling sick for a couple hours at home, I finally covered my finger in anal lube and was able to remove the ring.

Soaked the ring in salt water overnight with a sage leaf and a couple drops of lavender oil and it's fine now.

I think what happened here is that dozens or hundreds of people touched it before I got there and left all their various baggage behind on it, not to mention whoever may have interacted with it during the manufacturing process. The thing was just filthy with garbage energy.

Cleaning before using is common sense with gemstone work; I just got excited to put the thing on and forgot to follow best practice.

Has this ever happened to you?

Posting here about a project I announced on Facebook.

This is MIYUKI the snow crab, the first of four origami servants which are part of my portable temple. It was created on June 21st 2017, the first day of Cancer, and its element is water. There will be four servants altogether, and when completed, I will be able to place them in a square formation of any reasonable size in any reasonable location and activate them with a short incantation. When evoked, they will automatically raise a temple for me; that is, they will take the roles of the four corners and convert the space inside the square into a liminal zone much like the kind one would create upon an altar to do work. I can then take advantage of the liminal zone to do rituals or increase the influence of my magick within the zone.

MIYUKI contains drawn on it a sigil which is representative of it, as well as a bit of my saliva. I plan to consecrate and charge this servant tonight, June the 23rd, while the moon is in Cancer. This will be done at a creek near my house. Originally I had planned to use full moons but this would have extended my schedule by several months; currently I am working on a four month schedule.

* The moon will be in Cancer (water element) from today through the 25th.
* I make the Leo-aligned (fire) origami on July 23rd when the zodiac enters Leo, and the moon is in Leo from that day until the 25th.
* The Virgo (earth) origami is made on August 23rd, and I catch the end of the Virgo moon which goes from the 21st through the 24th.
* The Libra (air) origami is made on September 23rd. Unfortunately the Libra moon ends the previous day, so I wait until the moon enters Aquarius on the 30th through the 2nd, which is also air aligned.

Currently, L.S. is a decentralized network where every sigil is attached to every other sigil. Too broad! If we can draw the sigil, why not also be able to visually represent some protocols for routing energies between specific sigils and groups of sigils, and for addressing of those sigils, or perhaps even for more complex concepts? And furthermore, these protocols could perhaps even be standardized to an extent for the easy use of all.

I present what is in no way a final draft, an early, simple example of a simple L.S. Addressing and Routing Protocol.

Double posting shall be allowed in this thread.

General Occultism / What is your Great Work?
November 12, 2016, 06:08:06 PM
If you have one and it's not a private thing, what is your Great Work? Your ultimate goal for using magic which you hope to some day achieve.

My ultimate goal is still nebulous, but I hope to make the world a more adventurous place along the way, if I can. Maybe that will turn out to be my goal.

The Armchair's Lounge / Excerpt from The Magus
November 11, 2016, 11:35:33 AM
An excellent parable about magic, belief, and perception quoted from "The Magus". Thoughts?

-----

Once upon a time there was a young prince who believed in all things but three. He did not believe in princesses, he did not believe in islands, he did not believe in God. His father, the king, told him that such things did not exist. As there were no princesses or islands in his father's domains, and no sign of God, the prince believed his father.

But then, one day, the prince ran away from his palace and came to the next land. There, to his astonishment, from every coast he saw islands, and on these islands, strange and troubling, creatures whom he dared not name. As he was searching for a boat, a man in full evening dress approached him along the shore. "Are those real islands?" asked the young prince.

"Of course they are real islands," said the man in evening dress.

"And those strange and troubling creatures?"

"They are all genuine and authentic princesses."

"Then God must also exist!" cried the prince.

"I am God," replied the man in evening dress, with a bow.

The young prince returned home as quickly as he could.

"So, you are back," said his father, the king.

"I have seen islands, I have seen princesses, I have seen God," said the prince reproachfully.

The king was unmoved.

"Neither real islands, nor real princesses, nor a real God exist."

"I saw them!"

"Tell me how God was dressed."

"God was in full evening dress."

"Were the sleeves of his coat rolled back?"

The prince remembered that they had been. The king smiled.

"That is the uniform of a magician. You have been deceived."

At this, the prince returned to the next land and went to the same shore, where once again he came upon the man in full evening dress.

"My father, the king, has told me who you are," said the prince indignantly. "You deceived me last time, but not again. Now I know that those are not real islands and real princesses, because you are a magician."

The man on the shore smiled.

"It is you who are deceived, my boy. In your father's kingdom, there are many islands and many princesses. But you are under your father's spell, so you cannot see them."

The prince pensively returned home. When he saw his father, he looked him in the eye.

"Father, is it true that you are not a real king, but only a magician?"

The king smiled and rolled back his sleeves.

"Yes, my son, I'm only a magician."

"Then the man on the other shore was God."

"The man on the other shore was another magician."

"I must know the truth, the truth beyond magic."

"There is no truth beyond magic," said the king.

The prince was full of sadness. He said, "I will kill myself."

The king by magic caused death to appear. Death stood in the door and beckoned to the prince. The prince shuddered. He remembered the beautiful but unreal islands and the unreal but beautiful princesses.

"Very well," he said, "I can bear it."

"You see, my son," said the king, "you, too, now begin to be a magician."

A rough draft of a simple personal banishing ritual built around concepts of the Linking Sigil and Operation 531. Meditation is used for initial grounding, chakra visualization is used for body awareness, a perimiter is described which incorporates fun hand motions and the sigil in the four cardinal directions, and an incantation connects above with below and evokes imagery of the L.S. and 531, while also incorporating fun hand motions. To close at the end of your business, the geometry of the perimeter is untraced in reverse, and the sigils are dispelled with a resounding clap and a spoken word. The closing ends with unvisualization of the chakras and meditation for grounding.

Preparation:
1) Sit and meditate until grounded.
2) Visualize the chakras as glowing balls of light within the body, following the colors of the rainbow from red at the root to violet at the crown.
3) Starting at the root and working upward, visualize the chakras glowing brighter and larger as they begin to spin counterclockwise faster and faster.
4) Stand.
5) Allow the lights to grow and merge with each other, into a white light surrounding and permeating the body.

Opening:
1) Begin facing east or toward a window or exit.
2) Point the forefinger and middle finger of both hands forward, the right one about two to four feet below the left (based on preference.)
3) Rotate the fingers counterclockwise tracing a square until the fingers have changed places.
4) Rotate the fingers clockwise now, tracing a circle inside the square, touching its edges.
5) Lower the left hand. With the right fingers, draw the linking sigil inside the circle.
6) Turning counterclockwise, repeat steps 2-5 for each cardinal direction.
7) Return to facing east, with hands at sides.
8) Speak the incantation while following the hand gestures:

And upon this mark, (hands cupped)
I unite the worlds (hands pressed together)
Beneath the golden sun. (hands raised)
The sigil beside me, (hands reaching to the sides)
Empower and guide me, (hands on chest)
Five, three, one. (digits drawn in the air with right fingers, on top of the east facing sigil)

9) Perform your work.

Closing:
1) Begin facing east (or same direction as opening).
2) Perform steps 2-7 from the opening, excluding 5, but reverse all directions of motion. (Counterclockwise becomes clockwise etc.) Erase the shapes from earlier as you trace over them in reverse.
3) While facing east, flex outward and bring hands apart.
4) Speak "Ausschalten", and then immediately clap hands together forcefully. (German, def: to turn off, to eliminate)
5) Visualize the sigils exploding outward and disintegrating.
6) Visualize that the area has returned to normal. (Unless the goal was to change the energy of the area.)

End:
1) Visualize the white light fading inward as the chakras slow down and shrink to their original size and luminosity one at a time, working downward starting from the crown.
2) Cease visualizing the chakras.
3) Sit and meditate until grounded.
