Which key events will you be using, and which key events will we be manufacturing?

So, I'm assuming that we're all familiar with Nidhstangs, or Nithing Poles.

  So, here's a concept :


Why not set up a series of linked "nithing poles" across the country (country? World?) directed at central locations of...how should I say this ..."concentrated Reality"?  Instead of focusing on the harmful aspect, just direct a sort of guided Chaos-current into...wherever.


Basically, set up some powerful Chaos totem-pole/ projectors, and charge them all and fire them all at the same time.




Side-idea...


We could also use the same concept to build a Working for next year's Chelseanacht .


Those that can't actually make it to the gathering in New Orleans can build Nidstangs and fire them towards Nola at the appropriate time.

I say we start a Linking Sigil Dollar Bill project. Start converting all paper currency we get to Ellisean currency. Money moves and spreads, hell, the American monetary system is practically a magical belief system anyway.


We infect THAT with the L.S. there'd be some major flux introduced into it.

For me, it's a purely cultural concept.


Our "reality" (especially in the nation-state I currently live in) is a narrowly defined, rigidly controlled thing, as has been stated.


In addition to that, I personally feel it is a HARMFUL thing, engineered primarily so that the effort and time of the many directly benefit the few. The only way to REALLY benefit from our current Reality is to become one of those privileged few...


...Or at least, this is how it's been framed as the only real option.




It's that set of locks I want to break.

I want to introduce options, to show alternatives, to BE an alternative on every level, cultural, spiritual, magickal, you name it.

Warp-Stone Ritual

Intent : Creation of a symbolic "foundation stone" that will act as the main building-stone of a Manse/Tower.

Notes : Object is specifically for a single location, either the home of the Magician or the Primary Working Space. Object should be considerably non-portable. Basically, something that resonates a "personalized space" in the local area that is tailored for the individual Magician. Can also be used as the central point of an "Astral Tower", that provides defense, offense, and information-gathering .

Basic Questions :
1. What would be the basis for the object?
  1.A. Consider heavy stone for symbolic purposes.
2. What would be the "Activation Ritual".
3. What would be the "De-Activation Ritual".
4. Should it be specifically tied to a single location?
5. Should it be inviolably Individual in nature, or should it be allowed to be "linked" to "other Warp-Stones".
  5.A. Consider Creation of single Master Stone, with smaller Sub-Stones linking a cabal of Magicians for facilitating group-work. Kind of like the Palantirs from Tolkein.
  5.B. Consider creation of Warp-Siege Engines, which would basically be high-powered Chaos Current Generators that were portable but sturdy enough to be left someplace where they could be useful.
