The Assault on Reality / Another Evocation of Ellis
June 25, 2015, 11:17:52 AM
Inspired by the great Godform Cycle you folks did ( https://www.dkmu.org/forum/index.php?topic=218.0 ) I decided to try an Evocation as well. Here's my account of it :) Sorry for my inability to write short texts  :-[ If it's too long, just look at the pictures  ;) .

I chose the 24.06 as a date, as it is very close to summer solstice but not at a weekend, so I did not expect to be disturbed at the place where I went to.

My plan was to follow Frater Theodbald's suggestions (Thanks for those ideas!) with some changes. I must add that this is my first "serious" (in my consideration) magical work, even though I am into the Occult and DKMU for quite a few years. I was mostly focusing on Sigils, Law of Attraction-Style work and of course Glitterbombing so far. Other ressources I used were the Liber Null (Carrol) Chapters on Invocation and Evocation, as well as some ideas from this merkavahpartyvan.tumblr.com/post/66074566076/actually-summoning-a-demon-on-purpose post about goetic summonings.

0. I prepared the Altar (below). It's in a large resting-hut in a nearby forest, in a place where you can see the sun set (above). I found it perfect for the purpose.

The plan was to have a Sigil of Ellis surrounded by 5 candles (for the 5 letters of her name and for resonance with my banishing ritual, which works with the Pentagram = 4 Elements + Spirit symbolism). As Gifts I planned to bring sweet red wine for the Lover, Rose incense for the Queen and a sweet for the child. Sadly, I left the incense at home  :-[ so I improvised with a scented candle. (The large fire you see comes from using multiple matches as wicks, as otherwise the wind would blow it out -- and it of course looks better.)

1. I used my own banishing rite, which I created with the instructions in Liber MMM a few years ago, focussing heavily on Elemental symbolism joined with Chaos.

2. After this I whirled around for a while to get into Gnosis and then I performed a shortened version of the Transvocation of Khaos (Thanks to Frater Theodbald once more!), basically leaving out the lines that did not resonate with me. It was quite an interesting experience, but nothing really spectacular either.

3. Next was the actual evocation of Ellis. I began it by some more time with whirling, and then recited a poem (below) which I (amateurishly, no doubt) wrote for this occasion. I had to improvise a bit because of the forgotten incense, but oh well.

After the last line of the poem, I saw Ellis (the way I usually see what I visualise with open eyes, as transparent but still somehow bearing colour and texture) standing on the other side of the table, in the form I usually see her, a tall black-haired woman dressed in red. I saw her split into Queen, Lover and Child, trying the offerings I set before them.

I have the impression that I understood/heard their/her comments better than ever before, even though I of course cannot be sure that it is not a projection of myself anyway (Anyone knows a way around this constraint?). I asked her to become one again, and we talked for a few minutes, which was very interesting. My main request was that she tells me whether she is okay with my work. I also asked whether she can do something to help improve communication between her and me.

4. After all of that I thanked her for appearing and for talking to me. She disappeared into the night and I started cleaning the ritual place and collecting my stuff.

Something rather interesting happened afterwards, on my 40 minute way back home through the forest. I was in a quite intense emotional state after the evocation, and just entered a pretty dark part of the forest with my eyes still not very adjusted from looking at the candles. I asked Ellis, who's presence I still felt, whether it is possible to speak to her more clearly, to get a more direct communication going.

What then happened really surprised and confused me: Basically, it seems like Ellis granted me a Familiar Spirit or something similar. I did not know that she does that.... But another woman appeared in front of me, looking similar but still clearly not like Ellis. She said that she was Alice (changed pronunciation) and will act as a helper for communication and as a general contact-entity. And for the first time (except for the few minutes during the evocation) in my experience with Ellis I could "hear" her rather clearly, not just for a few thoughts. From then she appeared and disappeared from time to time, but I could call her and talk to her, which is pretty great. She also seems a very helpful entity in general, helping me to focus on important tasks and not get distracted. AGain, I cannot be totally sure whether this is all projection/placebo, but if so "it's working" very well, better than ever before, so it feels quite real to me.

Overall it was quite an evening. I am extremely pleased with the results and very grateful to Ellis, Arjil, Frater Theodbald and the DKMU in general.

The poem I wrote to call Ellis:
_____
A Calling to the Queen

To the Red Queen I am calling
Ellis, hear me and descend
Rigid structures will be falling
We bring Khaos to the land

Show the world variety's wonder
hidden doorways open wide
Stagnant order torn asunder
Magic flows as crashing tide

Taste the Wine I brought before you
Smell the Rose and taste the sweet
Share with me your plans and feelings
Join me in this magic feat
_____
Sooo, if you managed to read such a long text, I'm very grateful for your comments. If you did not manage to read it, I'm also interested in you comments, though  ;)

Welcome!

I think I remember you from the DBL-Forum, not sure though.

Punch and Pie is still there, though you notice less of it on this forum, sadly. A lot of activity happens on the DKMU-Group in Facebook. The forums are not dead though, so welcome back!

Wow guys, I know that this isn't quite the thread's topic, but I'm just very interested. You mention the Goetia, and I always wanted to know how a modern, khaotic approach of working with it might be. The classical summonings, especially with the metal seals, just seem not very practical.

So how do you work with them? Maybe someone can elaborate on that in another thread or so? It would be immensely appreciated, probably not just by me.

The Assault on Reality / Re: Glitterbombing Revived
June 05, 2015, 07:00:15 AM
Recently I decided that we need some tags in the village where everyone's beloved Johann Sebastian Bach married. In truth it just happens to be rather close to me :D So I put up a few small tags there. It was a plain sunday but I met almost no one. I think one single car drove by me, no pedestrians. Ellis really has some serious way of either keeping people away when Glitterbombing happens or directing one unnoticably to places where no one is.

The tag I share here is basically just across the road from house with many windows looking right at me. That's why there is nothing added to it.

I mean I couldn't leave a life-size wolf-statue without an LS, right?

I also was in the churchyard where the Bach-wedding was, but there was sadly no place to put a sigil there that wouldn't look barbaric and cause only negative emotions. No stickers to write over, no walls with Graffiti, all perfectly clean and very churchy...

Welcome back Sheo! Who knows, we might be able to revitalise this forum  8)  It's certainly already more lively than it was a few months ago.

This is a repost from an old DBL-Post that, I think, might serve as a good short introduction to the DKMU https://web.archive.org/web/20111208020906/http://deathbylollipop.com/forum/index.php?topic=128.0 (Edit for clarity: This is not written by me. I assume it's Alysy's work.)

Welcome

If you had managed to find this inconspicuous internet post, whether by search, link, or word of mouth, you had no doubt heard of our activities taking place the world over. The operations had begun, and we have resurfaced into the world once again.

I use "we", as in:

DKMU

To start, I would like to remind you who are reading this, that you are still alive.

Further to that, in being alive, you alone have sole control and power over what occurs in the time of your existence, and in the gaze of your immediate experience while on this planet. And, if you didn't believe that already, this text gives you permission to assume the complete control you were convinced out of. There is no exception, however hard some institutions may try to convince you otherwise. For some, this is attempted to the point where they're choices in life are also, and become your choices. If you are one who finds comfort in this dependence, then let it be known that all attachments to Hive Mentality will, after this point, and in pursuit of answer, be completely and utterly destroyed from the mind.

The time has come, I'm afraid, to cut the apron strings, and meet Total Liberation face to face.

This may be difficult for some, for in fact, Liberation consists of an internal grace. Those who cling like children to dogma will suddenly feel as if they had been cruelly snatched of their bottles. Those who praise nationality and race alike will suddenly feel the cold absence of the warm ego-stroking hand of Culture, and the State.

You may have already come across some of our articles, or fliers, be they found in the Real World, or the Web. Know that your town or city is not the only one, nor the first. The event was synchronous, reaching into every country, areas rural and urban, being performed by many groups, and many cells, under many different names. As correspondence dictates, you have managed to find ours. Why is this being done? You might ask, and that particular answer depends solely on how you honestly feel after reading. Until then, and in so many words...

The chains of boundary had never existed, Khaos had never died, and Welcome, to the limitless potentia of your unhinged Self.

As luck would have it, not all information regarding that which was sought may be found on this forum. As well, if you happen to find any other fronts of organization, those puzzles shall not contain all pieces, either. Such is the way we assume to insure that those who truly seek, will find. As they say, the rabbit hole goes deep, and infamy is gained within shadows. Answers are gained through communication, and willed activity. Although, some answers are as readily available as one might deserve:

-"We" consist of many names, in many countries. We are separated, yet united.
-"We" work for the Economy of Dream, and fight against the Economic Prison.
-"We" recognize divinity as being the Human Imagination, and all that it had spawned.
-This does not constitute all that which is Imagined is Unreal within Experience.
-"We" work for the Total Liberation of Autonomous Individuals.
-"We" are you, "You" are us, and we are everywhere at once.
-Inspiration is a key which unlocks that which was already open.
-You are welcome to join us, the string in the labyrinth has been offered, and those who will delve, will delve.

Our Lives Shall be Transformed by Our Lives

We wish you Luck, and above all, Joy

The hand that had written these words does not exist.

The Assault on Reality / Re: Ellis Skype Group?
April 27, 2015, 01:58:16 AM
Yeah, we sure are a "graffiti group", to which we provide ample evidence in our own picture galleries which show dozens of public LS tags :D If they care to prove that we are a graffiti group.... they do not need any Skype at all.

I agree with our Endless Love (Ahavah Ain Soph -- I'm currently studying Hebrew A2 :D) that they do not care and if they do care, anything we say on skype isn't going to change anything (because the public forum is sufficient evidence :D). So there's no actual security threat involved.

Later today I'll write all who answered in this thread pm's, so we can link up.

The Assault on Reality / Re: Ellis Skype Group?
April 26, 2015, 04:29:34 AM
Absolutely great idea in my opinion! Skype is a pretty good tool for a quick chat -- more comfortable than IRC at least for me. At least if multiple of us actually have it.

Of course, since it now belongs to Microsoft, you have to expect that everything is being read potentially, but this is probably true for most of the internet today...

So, folks, if you have Skype and are interested, drop a line in this thread, then we can PM each other our skype-names. Not like the NSA can't read PMs, probably they can if they care, but at least the spam-bots won't get them from a pm.

Thanks a lot for this idea, Order's Bane!

Edit: I also wrote you a pm :)

Welcome to the Glitterbombing Business  8)

I do not think that there is a strict answer to which colours are best. I personally always carry a black and a red permanent marker, since these are the colours I connect the most to Ellis. Silver/Metallic and Gold also seem like good ideas to me -- the "Lead to Gold" symbolism is very striking. The worthless lead of consensus reality being transformed to the Gold of Khaos and lives worth living by the Alchemy of Glitterbombing.

As for drawing it on your own stuff... I personally do not have it on anything that can be seen as mine. There are not many Glitterbombers, right? So, if someone sees a tag on a wall or anywhere, and then sees it on your stuff, he'll guess that is is your work. Now, he has no proof. But you are the primary suspect and graffiti is of course not exactly permitted officially. This is why I only have it on personal stuff that I don't have with me in public.

If you are not worried about that and someone asks you about that sign on your bottle... you'll have to give an answer, hm? Most likely I'd say "Solve the Riddle" or "Seek the Secret" :) These also make for good quick writings next to LS tags, I think. If you tag an LS with a line such a those and the Letters DKMU somewhere, folks might look it up on google and have their minds blown, which is of course part of the point, right :) ?

But let's be honest, in modern society you do not want all random people around you (in your class/university, at your workplace and so on) to know that you personally are an occultist, or?  And since the LS directly links to DKMU and that directly links to Magick... I would not draw it on things that link to me directly, i.e. my personal stuff, and I would not explain to peope what it means if they see a tag somewhere and (for some reason) ask me about it (unless those people are good friends, obviously).

This is just my personal opinion however, you can do it in any way you like. Obviously, it is always a good idea to try to find out/feel what Ellis thinks about your Glitterbombing.

The Assault on Reality / Re: Linking Sigil Basics
April 04, 2015, 10:42:43 AM
Dead trees and treestumps surely make for a good place to tag, why not? Even more so when they are in striking positions or seem outstanding in any other way. However, to make a visible and durable sigil in this way does require more time than to draw it with a waterproof marker. If you just "draw" with a knife, one cut per line, the result will become next to invisible in a short time.

Here's a very small example carved into one of those hunting stands that are standing everywhere in the forests:

Here's a gallery of many public LS tags which might serve as an inspiration:

Kiki, if you (or MQ or anyone) send me the "unformatted mountain of text" in separate text files or in any other way, I offer to do the following:

I can create a (hopefully preliminary) book-style pdf with LaTeX, that will be acceptably and consistently formatted, will have a clickable table of contents and so on. I can include pictures. It would be very simple, no beautiful graphic design, nothing fancy, but at least we will have the texts and pictures in one accessible document.

I would do this in the weeks between 16.03 till the 6.04, or later, but if later it will take longer. If you can give me (preferably read-only, so that I cannot delete anything by accident) access to the text, and the motivation fairy visits me (which is very likely for such a great collection of texts), I might do it in a weekend or two. It would look somewhat (but not exactly :D ) similar to this example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58345288/bookexample.pdf

Of course, this would be just putting the text into it, as is and applying LaTeX's excellent auto-formatting features. Not proofreading everything or anything like that. I do not have that much motivation. Once that is done and we can read it, maybe it will create some motivation in folks to make a beautiful thing out of it, with fancy colours and so on.

Edit: I've now reread MQ's ideas for the editing procedure, which are very indepth and work intensive, even though results coming from that procedure are sure to be extremely good. However, I take it that the progress on this is a bit slow, because it is so work intensive. So my offer stands.

Tl:Dr Give me (again, preferably read-only) access to all texts, and I quickly create a consistently formatted and accessible, but very simple and not asthetically striking preliminary version of the book. This might help to motivate us to participate in the longer editing process to proofread everything and make a beautiful thing out of it.

Final note: English is my third language and I'm unsure about how my "tone sounds". None of this is intended as any criticism of MQ or anyone else or this project in general. I find it a totally great idea and just offer this as an additional point. If anything sounds in any way offensive, it is not intended.

Oistars / Re: SO MISTI And Sigils.
February 12, 2015, 02:43:47 PM
I agree with Kiki, this sounds like an absolutely amazing and very useful experience.

Therefore, I'm really interested in trying something comparable  :)  But I don't know anything about So Misti either. Where can I find information on this? It's not in the DKMU-Texts on the page or on Kiki's Scribd-Collection. Is in in some post on FB? If so, we should definitely look it up and get it to the forum.

Can you tell us where you got the sigil and the other information from?

This is an extremely helpful post! Thanks a lot arjil.

Wow! Mindblowing One-Man Gang-Life over there. Respect for pulling that off.

I noticed myself that whenever the impulse to leave a Tag becomes strong, places remain quiet and empty for surprising amounts of time.

Absolutely welcome to this forum and thanks a lot for the stories! "Large Scale Meddling" (with consensus reality) is probably the best three-word description of what the DKMU does I ever came across.

Welcome (back) to yourself, as the saying goes.
