I'm new here, and new to the occult in general. I'm wading my way about for now, working out what direction to travel  ;)

I joined to involve myself with people concerned with action, rather than just reading books. Which, unfortunately, has been my primary encounter in the online occult community. And what can I say, I agree with the modus operandi here.
