The Walrus?

I have been reading the literature related to the DKMU, but the question for me remains "what is the significance of The Walrus?

on a side note, about 2 weeks ago I first noticed a small green truck driven by a big old guy. the license plates read 'Walrus'.  I found that kind of funny, he could probably be a walrus.

The walrus is an obvious tie in to Alice in  Wonderland. And the walrus needs oistars, which is  what we've always called noobs. So in the past that became a tribe. Pretty much what that meant was that you were part  of  the  welcoming committee and actively went out trying to awaken  people through the use of the Linking Sigil  and other techniques. If I remember right.
