Missed today's session due to lack of follow through on my part, but I've read the book and would love to jump in next time. I'm typically free mondays and tuesdays and Sunday afternoons (-5hr GMT). I have a couple hours (2-4pm my time) on saturdays between shifts if the meeting doesn't run much over an hour or so.

Yad'Rif
My latest project. Yadrif deals with all things social: confidence, esteem, interaction, and the like. Since work on him began, I've noted distinct changes in my demeanor and sociability. The ultimate goal is self-actualization, which Yad'Rif is designed to help one realize. Here's the invocation ritual I've put together over the last few weeks. I prefer to induce mild to moderate psychedelia during the invocation, but to each their own.


Yad'Rif Invocation Ritual


On a Friday, gather the following items:


a black candle
5 white candles
graveyard dirt
salt
quartz (citrine is best but plain will do)
a sharpie
a playing card
green string or cord
a foreign coin
sacrament of choice


Draw a circle with the salt, then a concentric circle of graveyard dirt. Around the edge, place the white candles, with the black candle in the center.


Take the sacrament.


With the sharpie, draw the Sigil of Yad'Rif on the back face of the playing card. Charge the sigil. Go about daily activity with the card in your pocket.


When your daily tasks are completed, take the card out and connect with Yad'Rif via your preferred method. Inquire about anything related to completion and self-actualization, and all things social. Connection should feel akin to a smooth caffeine state. Shudders and twitches are common signs of a connection being established.


After contact is made, place the card/sigil at your altar beneath the citrine and foreign coin. Light all the candles, and meditate on the sigil and your inquiry until you reach trance. Receive what answers may come.


Tie the card around the citrine using the length of string. With the coin in your left hand, take the bundle outside and, digging with only your right hand, bury it. Return to the altar with the coin and leave it until the candles burn out. Draw the sigil on the coin to forge an individual link.

I'm gonna be frolicking about dressed as an Antifa protester with a sign that says "Emasculate the Proletariat" on one side and a big LS on the other. The phrase will (hopefully) catch people's attention and elicit an emotional response, charging the sigil and screwing with reality in the process. Plus it'll be a good fun joke for smoky ol' me.

So I've been playing around with an idea/thought recently. I'm a comedian, and was thinking that I could engineer intent into new/existing jokes and bits (which already are soaked in intent by nature of being jokes) making them into verbal sigils. The prevalence of visual artists around the DKMU made me want to "represent" my especial art form in the field of chaos magic and the current.


Hell, maybe some of the better ones may even hit low-level egregore status if my theory holds water and the jokes are any good.




Here's my first one for the new project:


"What do you call a bagel that knows martial arts? Jew-dough."

Thanks for the info on the cat-spirit. That seems far more in line with things as they present themselves. I've noticed a significant lift in mood since they started popping up. Still healthily skeptical of any true symbolic link (I'm a little unbalanced to say the least and it could be run-of-the-mill visual illusions), but like Mulder "I want to believe."

So over the last couple months I've been seeing cats out of the corner of my eyes multiple times a day. At first I thought nothing of it, until I started working with 663. For a day or two, no more cats. Then a cat or cats- two or more times daily consistently since. I know he has some cat symbolism and connections, so a part of me thinks the cats are indicative of specific interest on the Doombringer's part regarding what I'm up to or something. On the other hand, they could be no more than misfiring neurons reminding me cats exist for some reason. Thoughts, anyone?

I tend to agree with Ringtail. I have a good body of experience in sigil magic targeting the external, many times people directly. While the ethics of those practices might be questioned, and the results a bit unpredictable (all magic has potential for unknown ramifications), I've found servitors to be more effective in both single-target and area of effect workings. Should you push forth, magickally speaking, I suggest that route.

All that said, it's probably best to have the tough conversation. Especially if your partner is emotionally unstable- we don't want that to become exacerbated by any magickal random weirdness.

Ketamine is like a pegasus that only flies in a serpentine pattern- you can reach interesting, unreachable places,  but at the risk of colliding with something mid-air.


Amphetamines are like comets- they streak through the sky, seemingly endless and with a flaming tail.


Coffee is like a moped- not too sexy, but it gets you around efficiently.


MDMA is like rekindling an old friendship that has since lost meaning- it can be cathartic or validating, but the aftermath can be equally debilitating.


Mescaline is like a gentle lizard sunning itself on a rock- it gradually gains speed, skittering around when stimuli appear, but without threat of harm (unless the magician is of a weaker psychic disposition).


LSD is a ladder that one might predictably climb to the heavens- just don't stand on the top rung, or fail to have something to stabilize the ladder should a gust of wind blow through suddenly (benzos, MJ, tobacco, and alcohol recommended as stabilizing elements).

So I've been working on a concept for an "uberservitor" lately that could potentially achieve egregore-like strength while maintaining a degree of control over the entity. Specifically, I am using a Chaos Dragon god from the D&D universe, Hlal, as a template due to her concentration of my desired traits. That template is then fine tuned to execute multiple functions with high efficiency through invocation. I plan to envoke the uber-Hlal during the upcoming eclipse.

Here's the formulaics I have worked up thus far:

(Pre-Uberservitor)+(evocation)(feed specialized servitor)^x=Uberservitor

X can be defined as the number of evoke/feed instances required for the uberservitor to possess the desired attributes, abilities, personality traits, etc.

Thoughts, comments?

I dig the routing and addressing concept a lot. I've been playing around with an idea for localized L.S. networks recently centered on an L.S. placed where most work is done. Then satellite sigils programmed to feed into the prime sigil are placed, (hopefully) concentrating local energy into a focal point (still being on the larger L.S. network simultaneously). The routing language you have would work really well for that project actually.


I haven't worked anything out on paper yet, but here's a rough approximation of where I'm headed


A' is the prime L.S.
x1-n are 1st order satellites,
y1-n are 2nd order satellites,
etc.


y1-n feed into x1-n, adding cumulatively, and x1-n feed into A', such that:
(y1-n)energy+(x1-n)energy+(A')energy=A' total strength


This is just a rough draft, but maybe some bits may prove useful with routing and addressing theory.

Hey everybody, glad I found this group. Been looking for others that aim to make the world more interesting and colorful and unpredictable for quite some time. I've been a chaote for the last year or so, and ran across the LS last week during a game of "Wikipedia roulette" and decided to try it out with a servitor for reducing a Reckless Driving ticket. I was overwhelmingly successful, and after a little more digging I found the DKMU. Looking forward to discussing and/or collaborating with you all!
