General Occultism / Re: On Satanism
Last post by Moon1ight - March 18, 2020, 06:19:15 AM
On my favourite Catholic blog, there was recently a post which I wanted to comment on, but somehow the site eats my comment. Since I want to save the text, it goes here :)

https://orthosphere.wordpress.com/2020/02/07/wrong-turns-and-bad-choices/

"joy grows increasingly secretive and rare in the world that reason and science have made."

It somewhat saddens me to read that you find so little Joy in life.  Shouldn't you, in your Hope for eternal fulfillment and your Faith in God be more joyful?

And yet, you aren't. Because your theory – though beautiful and well thought out – is wrong. You give the proof yourself, your lack of Joy.

In Crowley, the true Glad Tidings, we read that 'The central idea of the White School is that, admitted that "everything is sorrow" for the profane, the Initiate has the means of transforming it to "Everything is joy."' (If you take Crowley to be a Black Magician, consult "Magick without Tears", Chapters 6 and 7 – He's the very opposite)

To do God's Will, you have to find your own inner, true Will, which can be entirely different from Jesus'. This is God's task for you. Follow your own Pride and your own deepest Passions, like Lucifer, the first creation of God. Then you will find a Joy that is barely tarnished by "the world that reason and science have made."

I can explain Religion in one paragraph now: When a strong human finds his True Will, he feels its Truth so strongly and his life becomes so powerful, that he is tempted into the false belief that he has discovered everyone's True Will. Then he becomes a Prophet, like Jesus, who was probably very impressive indeed, but still made the fundamental mistake of taking his True Will for everyone's.

That's all there's to it. If you are not fulfilled and joyful, you are not doing God's will. Revelation is personal.

Looking forward to your views, dear Orthospherians :)

Your faithful occultist reader,
Moon1ight
Edit: This comment was rejected :D

Edit2: So, I had another go at the Orthosphere, with this comment. There was a rather fruitful discussion.

https://orthosphere.wordpress.com/2020/11/24/on-the-reality-and-ubiquity-of-witches/

Thanks for your answer, JMSmith. I feel like your first objection -- at least in regard to my position -- is refuted by your second.
"Anarchism [...] cannot stop the spirit that finds its Fulfillment in domination." Correct, but I do not argue for anarchism. I argue for everyone following their Fulfilment -- and clashing if conflict arises.

As you yourself say "Opposition to the will is good because it forces us to discard our frivolous desires and deepen our commitment to the things we are willing to fight for."

There are inherently two God-given Tasks to each spirit: Discover their Fulfilment ("True Will" in Crowley's terms) and Follow it.

As you know, to want an end is to want the necessary means. So if A finds his Fulfilment in domination, he will try to follow that, and B will have to resist. Perhaps by allying with C and D to remove A from their path -- by any means neccesary, as A stands in the way of their Task. Since God too apparently holds the view "Struggle does not crush our individuality, it is how we become who we are.", there is no contradiction here. The War itself is God-given.

My point is simply that this war has many directions, not just Christ and Antichrist. The Japanese spirits (to take a random example) take no side in that one and neither does the Greek pantheon. Even the Demons, if you read what the actual people who talk to them write, care rather little about Christ and Antichrist.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading the Screwtape Letters, thanks to the Orthosphere, but one shouldn't take this onedimensional worldview as actual truth.

Let me try a different angle: Christians know that Guardian Angels exist. Occultists know too. However, only the latter are found to be conversing with them. Why? Because your Guardian Angels would tell you that your True Will is different from Christ's and you don't want to hear that.
My Angel and I find Fulfilment in Doing Magick, which according to your Church is sin in itself, even if I only use it to help my loved ones and enjoy life. So, should I listen to the Church or a Messenger of God? To ask the question is to answer it.

Of course you have to say that any angel who says that is a demon and any spirit at all that isn't aligned with Christ is a demon. But what arguments do you have for that position? Revelation? Then it's your revelation against mine - and mine is personal while yours is likely from a book.

Looking forward to further answers.

Hi and thanks for sharing.
I've read it all, but this forum has very few other readers nowadays. If you want to reach a larger DKMU audience, see the Discord and the Facebook group.
Whom do I serve? Magick. "Just. Do. Magick."

The feeling of not being able to breathe on the Hawaiian baby woodrose was probably the vasoconstriction associated with it. On Yopo its so intense it literally feels like you poisoned yourself and you are going to die.

Thanks, I am going to train my monkey to grow these seeds ( Rivea Corymbosa). Normally my monkey works with heavenly blue or Hawaiian baby woodrose My monkey likes having these plants just around in general. My monkey has an interesting relationship with them, as in being in the presence of the live plant gives a low grade effect some may call placebo but sometimes gets stronger, maybe my monkey is mad? My monkey likes growing these plants, hawaiian baby woodrose seems hard to grow in this climate though, but if this other plant works as well has heavenly blue or better, then maybe my monkey will grow both of those.

Is there much of a difference between heavenly blue and Rivea Corymbosa as far as nausea? My monkey noticed a drastic difference between heavenly blue and Hawaiian Baby Woodrose naseua wise at comparable effects, although my monkey gets a more overall sedated trance effect out of the Hawaiian.

That being said, back to the point, I can see the writhing in exstacy part with hawaiin baby woodrose, in my experience, (and have had similar with amanita and other more "intoxicating" psychedelics). that you either get "drunk nausea" or a "euphoria" depending on what your doing. A lot of the more nauseating psychedelics seem to have more mystical connections they want to do, and the more my monkey goes in that direction the better experience my monkey gets physically and mentally. I guess what i am saying is my monkey has similar experiences, and usually when it happens some sort of entity ends up involved. Like the thing he met when he blew some yopo up his nose.

General Occultism / Re: Reflections – Thoughts I c...

Around the end of high school, I had what I might now term a vision (triggered by reading Liber Legis, actually, though somehow I failed to put that together at the time) which advanced my cosmology significantly.

I was familiar with the idea that Everything is identical to Nothing. It seems like I came by this more intuitively than rationally over the course of several years (~ages 10-15). Drifting to sleep while mulling over the injunction "Do as you will shall be the whole of the law," I envisioned a field of points, or vectors, all obeying that premise - essentially acting from randomness, or pure chaos.

Despite being emanations of chaos, they interacted to create order, forming streams which intertwined, melded, and sometimes clashed, causing their component vectors to scatter. (If two nearby vectors/streams are going in more or less the same direction, they're likely to unite, but if they're moving almost opposite it will take a lot of traction to make one of them reverse.)

The vision was building itself by more than logic. It had a color (honey gold), a taste (fiery tang), and an energetic fizzing quality that I described as being like fiberglass. It looked a lot like this:

It was extremely impressive and beautiful. I had thought order was unreal, something enforced on nature by mistake and that in reality everything was free and basically unitary (nothing). But here I was seeing complexity arise from freedom. Imposed order was explained too by a stream attempting to force conformity from smaller vectors. Sometimes this works and the smaller streams/vectors settle down and go quietly, other times they resist to the bitter end, causing disruption within the larger stream, slowing its momentum and causing it to tend to fray.

A stream that is moving fast becomes more unified and vice versa. The most powerful are like laser beams tearing across the field, blasting through oppositions and inspiring everything in a wide radius to join their victorious surge. Others are wide and sluggish with many internal conflicts (=inefficiencies); they have a hard time keeping their vectors from running off with something more charismatic.

It may be that each particle-vector is continually influenced by randomness/nothing/fuck knows/wherever its original motive came from. Or perhaps there was no origin and everything is deterministic. In any case, under this model a person does not have a True Will because a person is not a particle-vector (which just Is what it Is at a given moment), but a collective stream. The closest thing here to True Will is what I call Synchronization, which is a measure of alignment between internal vectors. It's certainly more fun to be part of a fast, efficient stream than surrounded by conditions which prevent you from getting anything done.

Identification is arbitrary. Most humans are neither singular nor isolated. It doesn't matter where the edges of one's stream lie in relation to skin, that which you care about is you.

(Perhaps True Will could be defined as "That direction which would result in universal harmony if every vector were following its True Will." But this could be accomplished in several different scenarios - it would look like some variety of endless knot.)

So, as streams, one basically has three options: Lean into another stream, condensing your and its power; fight it, causing disruption; or swim sideways and influence the direction of the other stream. Accelerate, block, wedge. There is also a more complex, back and forth sewing motion which can bring two streams together if you're convincing. A stream can get very clever in using its movements to affect others.

Major clashes send individual vectors shooting off at odd angles. The atomic particle-vector is almost powerless, but it is perfect. It flies free of right and wrong, following the sum of its surrounding influences at a given moment (desire -> action without attachment; love underlies will; this adaptable, outward-focused attitude is humility, the Fool). In essence, nothing is slowing it. If it can retain this synchronization while building mass, it will become a force to be reckoned with, but this endeavor is too complex to succeed rationally; a human-size stream can only accomplish it through intuition.

Final thoughts, and this is very new speculation (like.. yesterday): Although the particle-vectors are unitary, I don't think they are identical. In fact they're all unique. I believe a melding mechanism occurs under extreme pressure that is akin to the formation of igneous rock. Internal differences liquidate and meld together into a consolidated, universal view of reality. Humans experience this sudden clarity as the whole Dawn after the Dark Night thing. (Tangential hypothesis: the Difference between internal views is also retained in the new solid, adding something entirely new to the composition, from specifically Nowhere... the only thing that is the same across all reality, the transcendent will of Khaos...) Every time this happens, a new nature is formed by recombination. For a while, the synthesized product enjoys perfect synchronization and the weight to use it, at least until changing environmental conditions, affecting the stream unevenly, inevitably introduce divergence. (Again, making the point that a stream is not a person. When this happened to "me", my entire mind wasn't unified, only the conscious parts. I still had my bad habits, but I could treat them objectively.)

The identity which is dissociated from everything that is not in control, acting spontaneously with perfect synchronization, unbound and curious to wield power and utilizing soft methods of control, I refer to as Presti. I made up this word to denote its agility (Latin presto = quick, prestidigitation = quick-fingered), but coincidentally it is also a Slavic word meaning To Weave, used in the expression "presti vunu", "weave (black) wool", alluding to the performance of magic.

Why should there be something wrong with you? If the events don't cause you problems,  can you just accept them? I mean, More Magick in your life, isn't that what DKMU stands for?

On the other hand, if they do cause you problems, prevent you from sleeping or something, then we need to search for solutions.

Also "control how fast clouds would move" Wow! That is on a whole other level than flashes of light and even moving objects.
The weather? It's such a huge system, so much mass and inertia... I find it easier to believe that you have foreknowledge of how the clouds will move.
Control? Well, if so, it shouldn't be hard to find some  uses for that. Clouds move by the wind, right? And wind moves by differences in air temperature. So it means that you increase the temperature difference between the place the wind is blowing the clouds from and the place it is blowing them to. You either make one place colder, or the other hotter or both.

I'm sure you can see many uses for controlling temperature. If that is true, you can convince any random group of people standing outside in the sudden warmth or cold that Magick is Real. That'd be flat out amazing.

Hi i noticed increased paranormal activity after connecting with the ancient ones. Lights would flicker if i am charged emotionally that happened also before diving into the occult.
Also i can control how fast clouds would move without any drugs

I would see a green light when i am in the time of need of help
I also see floting dots and flashes of light

Can anybody tell me what is wrong with me?

Things would fly across the room

I would see shadows when it is completely dark and my clock stops ticking

What does it mean? It came in my mind like a vision
Could this be a sigil? Could it be an alchemic symbol?
Thanks in advance
