"Rending the Veil" Brainstorming Basic Questions
« on: October 06, 2014, 06:55:46 pm »

1. Who will be taking part in this Working ?
2. What precisely are we attempting to achieve?
3. When will we be making the attempt?
4. Where will be making this attempt?
5. How will we be making this attempt?

Are these questions for the pirate project, or overall?

At this point, I'd say "Over all". I sincerely doubt that one group Working is going to accomplish such a large-scale thing.

1. That is just it. It is not one group. There are many people assisting this endeavor, both consciously and unconsciously.
This group really seems to be tackling the direct changes, both in the perceptions of the general public, and on a magickal level. Meanwhile, there are so many people riding between the mundane and this front line, all effecting the paradigm in differing ways.
For instance, most of the fluffy pagans and "safe" groups are creating a level of acceptance, or at least acknowledgement, in the general public, They are also holding enough rituals (bland as many of them are) that they are stirring up  fodder for those who know how to direct it, making soft spots with repetition, and creating cover for other work. Believe me, there are people spread throughout those groups who are enacting their own assault on reality. The ones working from within that particular system.

2. The goal for me is to pull things into this world that have been blocked for far too long, opening up flow from Elsewhere, and creating pathways between. For others, it's just to shift this existence into a more magickal place, or to create change, serious change, before this asinine way of existing blows everything up.

3. This is happening constantly, in hundreds of ways. Every time you "push" reality, it's an attempt. Say you look at the term fabric of reality: each attempt stretches that fabric just a little, each success pops a stitch. Do this enough times and the fabric is weakened, keep at it and you get holes.
Bigger attempts could include multiple people, I see this being organized through friends groups and through groups like DKMU. FB may suck, but the on the fly "group activity" gets a pretty immediate response there.

4. Everywhere.

5. How will you? Every act of will that rolls against the current assumption of how reality works is an effort in the right direction. For some, the big works are rather personal (I used to make my biggest strides on my own, lately I've been mucking about much more openly ;)

Push people's perceptions, do the strange things in places where people just can't seem to figure out why you aren't offending them, broaden horizons.

Drop shit out in the open where it's suddenly infiltrating lives previously insulated from new ideas (that's the great thing about glamourbombing).

Open  yourself to feel the opening pathways and currents in the world around you. Encourage them, push away the restrictions around them. Charge the natural nodes, mark the nexus points, run the mundane paths that coincide and make them well worn.

Make the traces of Elsewhere a part of this world.

Ease the blending of the two... and when that does not work well enough, fast enough, or with the depth that you need, PUSH.
